Introduction

Escape and Destruction

Lut's wife, who had sympathized with the wrongdoers, looked back and was also caught in the divine punishment.

4. Turning of Lut’s Wife into a Pillar of Salt:

As Lut (AS) and his family fled the city, they were commanded not to look back. However, Lut's wife disobeyed and looked back at the city, and as a result, she was turned into a pillar of salt as a sign and a punishment for her disbelief and betrayal.

These events and miracles surrounding Prophet Lut (AS) remind us of Allah’s might, the consequences of immorality and disbelief, and the mercy and protection granted to the believers who follow His guidance.
